I hate those small planes. Why do they even exist?

Lastly, I consider books to be just as important as a spare tire, but from the sounds of it, your think receiving blankets and iodine should be handy right now too. Lol. Fingers crossed the baby cooks cooking.

Have a great time at the wedding!

The last trip I took was my brother's wedding in Oregon. Flew from Baltimore to Denver, then from Denver to Medford, OR (small plane for that Denver-to-Medford segment). I was in my first trimester and the only time I threw up during this entire pregnancy was during the descent into Denver. Good times.

I know I brought several books, but I don't remember which ones. But I never travel without books.

I'm going out of town this weekend, actually, for a funeral. Will definitely bring some good books for the drive (I'm not driving!). Haven't decided which ones. Probably a mixture of some YA and some Regency. Or maybe some Chick Lit. Or a mystery.

Oh, and my well-worn copy of "What To Expect When You're Expecting" with the page flagged on what to do if you go into labor and can't get to hospital. Not that I want Mr. Brice to deliver the baby on the side of I-81 but better to be prepared, right?
